Firewalls protect your computer from outsiders attacking your system and turning your computer into a slave for their uses. We recommend an external firewall as the best. The normal Bend Broadband cable modem does not have firewall included. If you are using DSL, the Qwest standard DSL modem does include a firewall. MicroSphere sells firewalls that are a simple plug and play for Bend Broadband. |
